It’s nice to settle down to a nice, casual winter dinner after the craziness of the holiday season begins.
I’ve used a vintage holiday tablecloth found at a yard sale. I like that it features pinecones and has those random red blocks throughout for just a little pop of color.
The green dinner plates were a thrift store find. They were the perfect green to accent the Fortessa Evergreen bone china plates which I picked up at one of their warehouse sales.
I’m also using the green Whitehall glasses and compotes I found at a thrift shop. The flatware is a Dansk pattern we have had for years. It came from the Dansk outlet which has since closed; I still miss that store! I used brown Bed, Bath & Beyond napkins from my napkin stash with yard sale wooden napkin rings.
Also featured is this fabulous tureen I snagged at one of my favorite thrifts. I couldn’t believe the super price on this piece, which also came with six matching soup bowls. It is a Bordallo Pinheiro set for which I paid $18. Yes, you read that correcty, $18. Wowser!
I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my thrifty purchases in action. I hope you, too, have a chance to enjoy a relaxed, casual dinner with your loved ones sometime in the coming month.
I hope to join the parties at Flea Market Finds at Her Library Adventures, Apron Thrift Girl’s Thrift Share Monday, Knick of Time’s Knick of Time Tuesday, Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays at Coastal Charm, Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch, Thrifty Thursday at Tales from Bloggeritaville, Thrifty Things Friday at The Thrifty Groove, and The Penny Worthy Project at Hey, What’s for Dinner Mom?

Tammy, your tablescapes are alway beautiful. Love the tablecloth and the Whitehall glassware. ❤
GORGEOUS, Tammy, as always. It is as if you purchased everything at one time for this lovely tablescape….. it just flows and you were right about the tablecloth – The red squares “pop” and are just enough color. My hats off to you once again and thank you so much for sharing your gift with all of us!
So nicely coordinated! I really love your cutlery.
I always see green glass and never have really been taken by it but you did an amazing job of making a beautiful setting.

Beautiful table Tammy. The Dansk is wonderful and I love the Bordallo tureen!
Green isn’t one of my personal favorite colors, but you’ve got me re-thinking that now that I’ve seen your lovely table.
My head is spinning over the price you paid for that tureen set! Love the tablecloth with it’s touches of red, the plates and drinkware in shades of green, and the brown napkins picking up the color in the top plate! All very, very pretty!
