When I found this tiered plate stand at a local thrift recently, I knew I would put it to good use. The sweet little cups from the Metlox Sculptured Zinnia PoppyTrail dishes set (here) were calling to me to be featured in a vignette. The two combined and this is the result.
This pattern is so cheerful. Even when it has rained for days and the sun is nowhere to be found, these bright little cups can lighten the mood. One glance at them and you just have
to smile. The yellows and greens of the zinnias are soft, subtle and yet pop on the cream background. I added two spooners I purchased from what was formerly Southern Living at Home and a yard sale greenery piece to round it out. I thought you might enjoy a glimpse at the heart- warming oil painting hanging above this vignette. “Man with Pig” was painted by my very talented husband. It’s one of my favorite things. I love the farmer’s expression.
I’ve enjoyed sharing with you this vignette of some of my favorite things.

This pattern is stunning and I love the display on the cabinet. Placing the cups on the tiered server is so pretty and the plant and flatware is the perfect touch. I absolutely love that pig painting. What a treasure. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
