It’s the Bees Knees

When my daughter gave me a beautiful glass bee skep shaped drink dispenser for Mothers’ Day, I knew it would have to be featured in a tablescape.

I rounded up some other bee-utiful items I had to accent this piece.

This little bee-lidded jam pot was a gift from a dear friend, many, many, many years ago.I found these little honeycomb candles at a recent yardsale. Aren’t the little bees precious?

This little Miel honey pot was also a yard sale purchase. The bee runner was made from some fabric in my fabric stash.

Here is the bee detail from my Frenchy glasses. I love, love, love them. Next we will see how the place setting came to be.

All the dishes, napkins and place mats were either yard sale or thrift purchases except the sunflower plates. They were purchased at Cracker Barrel. The flatware is a new purchase from Tuesday Morning.

A fellow dish lover gifted me with the two gorgeous cut glass flower shaped bowls holding the beeswax candles. Thanks so much, Paige! I sat them on cobalt blue dipping plates which match the cobalt flower vases which are just waiting for some flowers to complete this table.

I’m looking forward to making a big batch of sweet iced tea to fill this bee skep drink dispenser. There will be plenty so I hope you will stop by to join me.

This week I hope to join Marty’s Tabletop Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, and Susan’s Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

    Hi Tammy!

This is such a cute table! Blue and yellow is such a cheerful color combination, and I really love the bee theme. I saw that same beverage dispenser when I was shopping recently but can’t remember where I saw it. Anyway, it’s so perfect for summer. I love your whole table — the plates, the beeswax candles and votive holders, your bee fabrics, and especially the flatware. Thanks for sharing!
